retinaflow
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By installing the retinaflow Chrome extension, creating an account on this webapp, or otherwise using the service, you (“you”) agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
retinaflow is operated as a closed-beta personal project at this time. These Terms reflect that reality and are not a substitute for the formal contract that will govern paid use at general-availability launch.
2. License grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install the retinaflow Chrome extension and use the associated webapp and backend solely for the closed-beta scope described in section 3.
All intellectual property in the extension, webapp, backend, parser prompts, and documentation remains with us.
3. Acceptable use during beta
- Authorized charts only. You agree to use retinaflow only on the chart(s) identified during your beta onboarding. Use with any other chart is prohibited during the beta period. retinaflow remains in beta — verify every output before saving. See the HIPAA notice in the Privacy Policy.
- No real PHI. You will not transmit any real-world Protected Health Information through the service. retinaflow is not a HIPAA business associate during the beta.
- No reverse engineering. You will not decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the parser prompts or backend logic, except to the extent that local law expressly permits.
- No credential sharing. Your retinaflow account is personal to you. Do not share JWTs, sign-in links, or the contents of
chrome.storage.sessionwith anyone else. - No abuse. You will not attempt to exhaust rate limits, bypass the allowlist, mass-create accounts, or otherwise misuse the service.
- Lawful use only. You will not use retinaflow to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
4. Beta software disclaimer
retinaflow is provided “AS IS” during the closed beta.
We make no warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of outputs, or non-infringement. The AI parser may produce incorrect or incomplete action plans. You are responsible for reviewing every action plan in the preview step before clicking Execute.
Beta software has bugs. Expect downtime, expect occasional regressions, and report anything you find to dundysm@gmail.com.
5. Subprocessor acknowledgment
By using retinaflow you acknowledge that your data flows through the subprocessors listed in section 4 of the Privacy Policy (Anthropic, Clerk, Cloudflare, Vercel). Each subprocessor has its own privacy and terms of service; we link to them in that section.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to your use of retinaflow during the closed beta is limited to the greater of $50 USD or the total fees you have paid us for the service. Beta usage is free, so this limit is functionally $50 USD.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
7. Termination
You can stop using retinaflow at any time. Email dundysm@gmail.com to delete your account and associated data — we will action the request within 7 days.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the closed beta. If we terminate without cause we will, where reasonably possible, give you at least 7 days' notice. After termination, data is deleted on the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by written notice and good-faith negotiation will be resolved by the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as retinaflow evolves. For material changes we will email all active accounts at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
